Clinkpop for wedding DJs, planners and venues

One more thing to offer your couples, with nothing to carry: photo challenges dropping at surprise times on every guest's phone, with you in control of the pace.

Whether you are a wedding DJ, a planner or a venue that hosts weddings, your couples keep asking how to get their guests mingling, and the best activities usually need kit, floor space or an extra pair of hands. Clinkpop is a wedding DJ add-on, and a tool for any wedding pro, that fits inside the guests' own phones: photo challenges drop at surprise times during the party, the big screen announces them and reveals the photos, and the couple leaves with the album. Nothing to carry, nothing to set up.

What it adds to your service

Wedding entertainment is judged on one thing: did the whole room join in? Photo challenges reach the moments where you have the least leverage.

  • The drinks reception. Guests are standing, scattered, and families stick together. A prompt like "clink glasses with someone you didn't know this morning" does the ice-breaking for you. We have gathered more cocktail hour entertainment ideas.
  • The lulls at dinner. Between courses, "a photo with the whole table next to yours" gets an entire table on its feet, no microphone needed.
  • The evening. Dance floor prompts ("teach someone a dance move, and photograph the lesson") bring the shy ones back onto the floor.
  • Every generation. Most challenges are played in groups: grandma doesn't need a smartphone, her grandson holds the phone while she strikes the pose. No challenge targets children, and there are never any forfeits.

For you, it is one more line in your packages, with no van, no set-up and no staff to train. The catalogue holds 100 ready-made challenges in English and French, which helps at international weddings. You can read the full list in our wedding photo challenge ideas.

How to include it or resell it

The pack of 10 events

For professionals, we offer a pack of 10 events for €290. What you do with it is up to you: build it into a premium package, sell it as an option, or give it to your couples as a nice extra. The pack is available on request by email at hello@clinkpop.com, and we set it up with you personally.

For comparison, a couple booking through the website pays €59 for a wedding of up to 150 guests and €79 for up to 300, as a one-off payment with no subscription.

Try it before you commit

You don't have to take our word for it. The trial is free: create an event, get the challenge programme and test it with 10 people (your team, friends, a rehearsal evening). You will see exactly what guests experience and what the couple sees, without paying anything.

Who creates the event?

Either way works. You can create the event for the couple and keep the organiser space, remote control included, on your phone. Or the couple creates it themselves in five minutes: both first names, the date, when the game starts and when the party ends. A programme of about a dozen challenges places itself across the day (drinks reception, dinner, cake, evening).

How it runs on the day

Before the party

The table card is generated by the website: an A6 card with the QR code and, if you add it, the venue's Wi-Fi details. One per table, one at the bar during the drinks reception. Guests scan it with their phone camera, type their first name and play in the browser, on iPhone and Android alike. No app, no account, no email.

The big screen

If the room has a projector or a large screen, all it takes is a computer plugged into it, opening a web address. The DJ usually handles it, since their gear is already there. The screen announces each challenge in large type, shows the countdown, then reveals the photos one by one. After that, nothing to touch. No screen? Everything happens on the phones.

The pace and the remote control

The pace is set in advance: one challenge every 20, 30, 45 (the default), 60 or 90 minutes, or "manual only". Guests have 10 minutes to answer by default (or 20, 30 minutes, an hour), and latecomers can still play until the end of the party.

The real asset for a DJ is the remote control. A lull, or the perfect moment just before the first dance? One "launch a challenge now" button, one confirmation, and the next challenge goes out to every phone at once. Never two challenges at the same time, and the next one waits at least fifteen minutes. You can also choose "manual only" and launch every challenge yourself, from the mic.

During and after

One sentence on the mic at the first challenge and the whole room gets it. Guests are alerted at every challenge: on Android, the phone rings and vibrates even in a pocket; on iPhone, it rings while the page is open, and in a pocket too once the page is added to the home screen. An awkward photo can be removed with a single tap.

At 10 am the next morning, the couple gets a "your album is ready" email: every photo sorted by challenge, with the photographer's first name, downloadable as a full-quality ZIP. They can share the album with guests through a secret link and switch it off whenever they like. More on that side in our page on the wedding QR code photo album.

What we do, and what we don't do (yet)

Your reputation is on the line in front of your clients, so here it is plainly.

What we doWhat we don't do yet
The pack of 10 events, on request by emailNo partner dashboard to track your events
A free trial with 10 guestsNo white label under your brand
Nothing for guests to install, it all runs in the browserNo referral codes or commission
A real person answering at hello@clinkpop.com
The game in English and FrenchNo dedicated offer yet for birthdays, corporate events or parties

Today the website only creates wedding events. A version for companies is in the works: if you also run corporate events, drop us a line.

On guest privacy: data hosted in the European Union, no facial recognition, no reuse of photos, and every guest can remove their photo at any time (the file is deleted). The table card reminds guests not to photograph other people's children without their parents' consent. For a venue, that matters: nothing is public, and the album stays private unless the couple chooses to share it.

Let's talk

Want the pack, a demo, or just to ask a question? Email us at hello@clinkpop.com with your line of work and where you are based. Romain, the founder, will reply. And if you would rather see it first, create a trial event: with 10 people, it is free.

Frequently asked questions

How does the pack for wedding DJs and planners work?

It is a pack of 10 events for €290, available on request at hello@clinkpop.com. Use it however you like: included in your packages, sold as an add-on, or given to your couples.

Does the DJ need to install anything?

No. For the big screen, you just need a computer connected to the projector or screen, opening a web address in the browser. Guests scan the QR code on their table and play in their own browser.

Can we launch a challenge at the right moment during the evening?

Yes. The remote control in the organiser space has a "launch a challenge now" button: the next challenge goes out to every phone straight away. The following one waits at least fifteen minutes, and two challenges never overlap.

Can we test it before offering it to clients?

Yes, the trial is free with 10 guests. Create an event, get the challenges and see everything guests and the couple see, without paying.

Can we have Clinkpop under our own brand?

Not yet. There is no white label or partner dashboard today. If it matters to you, tell us: requests from pros will shape what comes next.
