Privacy policy
This page covers the clinkpop.com website, the organisers' space, audience measurement and the “keep me posted” list. The rules for event photos will be published before sales open.
Who is responsible
The publisher of Clinkpop, identified in the legal notice.
What we keep
Your e-mail address, the language of the page and the date of your consent, only if you fill in the form.
Why
To write to you when the pre-sale opens and when Clinkpop launches. Nothing else: no reselling, no sharing, no advertising for other brands.
On what basis
Your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
How long
Until you unsubscribe, and at most 3 years after you signed up.
Where
On an OVH server in France. Nobody else has access to it, apart from the providers named below.
Payment
If you pay for an event, payment goes through Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, in Ireland), which handles your card details; they never reach our servers. We keep your email address, the amount paid and the invoice for 10 years, as the law requires for accounting records.
Essential cookies
Your browser keeps your language, the links to your organiser spaces and your cookie choice. They only make the site work and need no consent.
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
Only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Google Analytics 4 measures, as statistics, the pages viewed on the site and in the organisers' space, where visits come from and a few actions: clicking “Try it for free”, creating an event, opening the payment page, paying, joining the waiting list, asking for a lost link, clicking to contact us by email or WhatsApp. The addresses sent to Google never contain your secret link, and neither your first names nor your email address are sent to it. Guest pages, the room screen and the shared album are never measured. Recipient: Google Ireland Limited, our processor; data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). _ga cookies kept 13 months at most, statistics kept 14 months. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the page; your choice is kept for 6 months.
Advertising measurement
Only if you turn it on in “Settings”. It would let Google tell us whether one of our Google ads brought you here. We show no advertising on this site and sell no data.
Visit alerts
Without cookies or identifiers, our server notifies us through the Telegram messaging app of visits and a few actions: approximate city (worked out from the IP address by a database installed on our server), device type, referring site, page viewed; for an event created or paid for, its first names, date, expected number of guests and amount. Your IP address is neither kept nor passed on, your email address never. Bots and guest pages are excluded. If you refuse audience measurement, your browser no longer reports your visits or clicks to us. Basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how our service is used; you can object by writing to us.
Questions on WhatsApp
The “A question?” button is a plain link to WhatsApp: our pages load nothing from WhatsApp and set no cookie for it. If you write to us on WhatsApp, your number, profile name and messages are processed by WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Meta group) under its own privacy policy, and may be transferred to the United States; we read and keep the conversation for as long as it takes to answer you, and 3 years at most. Basis: your request. You can also write to us by email.
Your rights
You can view your data, correct it, have it deleted or object to its use by writing to us. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
