What people ask us the most
Which celebrations is it for?
Weddings, birthdays, christenings or communions (bar and bat mitzvahs included), hen and stag parties, and family parties: reunions, cousins' get-togethers, Christmas. Each celebration has its own challenges, words and colours.
Do our guests need to install an app?
No. They scan the QR code on their table with their camera and play straight away, in the browser, on iPhone and Android alike. No account, no email, no password: just a first name.
How do they know a challenge has landed?
The phone rings and vibrates for each challenge, once notifications are allowed. And if the room screen is on, it announces each challenge to everyone.
What about guests without a smartphone?
They play with the others. Most challenges are done in groups, and one phone per photo is enough. Grandparents are often the stars of the party.
What about children?
No challenge targets children, and the christening and family party catalogues were reviewed with that in mind. The table card reminds guests not to photograph other people's children without their parents' consent. Nothing is public.
How many challenges, and when?
Every 45 minutes by default, or at the pace you choose, from 20 minutes to 1 hour 30. Each challenge lands at the right moment of the party, at a time your guests don't know. You can also launch the next challenge with a single tap.
Can we write our own challenges?
Yes, up to five, on top of the ready-made programme: “a photo with Uncle Jack”, “the whole school gang together”. You can also remove a challenge that doesn't feel like you.
The signal is poor at our venue. Will it work?
Yes, it's built for that. The photo is taken straight away and is sent as soon as the signal returns, with automatic retries. The venue's Wi-Fi can be printed on the card.
Who sees the photos, and for how long?
During the party, each guest sees the photos of the challenges they played. Afterwards the album is yours: you can share it with a private link. It is kept for 12 months, and anyone can remove their photo at any time.
Do we need a big screen?
No, it's optional. Without a screen, the photos are revealed on the phones. With one, a computer connected to the TV or projector is enough, with nothing to touch afterwards.
