Photo challenges for a christening or communion

A lovely day, the whole family plays.

After the ceremony, small photo challenges drop at surprise times on the guests' phones. The godfather clinks glasses with the godmother, both families mingle, the grandparents finally pose together. The challenges are for the grown-ups, never the children. The next morning, the album is ready.

A gentle day

For Leo's christening, four moments and no pressure

You set the start and end time; we suggest noon to 6 PM. Challenges drop on their own, each at the right moment, leaving plenty of room for conversation.

  1. A white chapel under a blue sky

    The ceremony

    No phones, no challenges

The game starts afterwards. On the way out, the first challenge invites everyone to photograph the place at its best.

  2. A drinks table set in a garden, glasses and fresh fruit

    Drinks

    Both families get acquainted

Guests scan their table card and type their first name. The first real challenge gets them looking for each other and saying hello.

  3. A long lunch table set in a garden, yellow flowers and sea-green napkins

    Lunch

    Every table raises a glass

Glasses and lemonades raised to the family: tables play together, and the youngest clink glasses too.

The challengeYour table raises its glasses and lemonades to the family, with a joyful face
  4. A white decorated cake surrounded by angel figurines

    Dessert and the afternoon

The cake, the sugared almonds, the garden

The cake before the first slice, the sugared almonds at their best, then the photo that sums up the day, everyone their own.

Everyone has a part

Godparents, grandparents: the day puts them in the spotlight

A christening brings together people who rarely meet. The challenges give everyone a good reason to get up, find each other and pose together.

Does it work for a communion, a bar or bat mitzvah?

Yes. All childhood religious celebrations share the same challenges, written for a family day. The game is called “Leo's celebration” on the cards, the screen and the album, whatever the ceremony.

Are there challenges during the ceremony?

No. You choose the start time: usually at drinks, after the ceremony. Before that, no phone rings.

What about the children?

No challenge targets children: the christening catalogue was reviewed for that. The table card asks guests not to photograph other people's children without their parents' consent. Nothing is public.

Do our guests need to install an app?

No. They scan their table's QR code with their camera and play right away, in the browser, on iPhone and Android. No account, no email: just a first name.

What about guests without a smartphone?

They play with the others: most challenges are done in groups, one phone per photo is enough. Grandparents are often the stars of the day.

Part of the family is religious, part isn't. Is that a problem?

No. The challenges are about the family, the meal, the cake and the day, never about religion. Everyone plays their own way.

The signal is poor in the hall or in the countryside. Does it work?

Yes, it's built for that. The photo is taken right away and sent as soon as the network is back. Add the venue's Wi-Fi: it will be printed on the card.

How many guests do we need?

From about ten, the game takes off. The price is the same up to 150 guests, and the free trial lets you play with 10 to see.

Can we add our own challenges?

Yes, up to five on top of the ready-made programme: “a photo with great-grandma”, “the whole Scottish side together”. You pick the moment, and your challenge takes the place of a planned one.

A day to remember

What if, for Leo's christening, the whole family played?

Five minutes tonight, and the celebration has its challenge programme. Try it free with 10 people, pay only once you're convinced.
