Surprise photo challenges for a birthday
A birthday where the whole room plays.
During the evening, a small photo challenge drops at a surprise time on every guest's phone, all at once. Childhood friends clink glasses with colleagues, family mixes with the crew, and the star of the day gets to see the party through everyone's eyes. The next morning, the party album is ready.

What's your name?
A typical evening
Emma's evening, challenge by challenge
You set the start and end of the party. Challenges drop on their own, about every 45 minutes, each one at the right moment of the evening. Here is what it looks like.
- 7:00 PMArrival
A card on every table
Guests scan the QR code, type their first name, and they're in. Twenty seconds, nothing to install. Emma plays too, and will be the star of almost every challenge.

Arrival - 7:42 PMDrinksClinkpopnowNew photo challenge (1 of 12)A photo with someone born the same year as you
The first challenge breaks the ice
Every phone rings at once. Guests hunt for someone born the same year: introductions, comparisons, laughter. The room has just mixed on its own.

Nina's photo - 8:28 PMDrinksClinkpopnowNew photo challenge (2 of 12)Your crew in party hats, homemade if need be
Crews form
Napkins folded into hats, paper crowns: each crew makes something to pose with. Colleagues discover unexpected talents.

Hugo's photo - 9:15 PMDinnerClinkpopnowNew photo challenge (4 of 12)Write a wish for the star of the day on a napkin and show it
A word for the star
Each table writes a wish for Emma on a napkin and holds it up. Emma sees them that night on the phones or the screen. The next morning, they're in the album.

The candles, seen by the whole room
The challenge drops as the cake arrives. Thirty phones go up, thirty angles of the same breath. For once, Emma gets to see that moment the way the guests did.

Everyone wants their dance
A queue forms in front of Emma. The shy ones finally have an excuse to dance, and those who never dance film.

The photo to keep forever
The last challenge, the most tender one. Everyone looks for the photo the star of the day will keep forever. One last cheers, under the confetti.

Chloe's photo - Next morning, 10 AM“Your album is ready”Emma's 40th birthday: every photo, sorted by challenge, with everyone's first name. By email, to the organiser.
The times are examples: on the night, nobody knows them in advance, not even you.
The cake moment
Emma's big breath, from thirty angles
When the cake comes out, everyone already has their phone in hand. Usually those photos stay on thirty phones and nobody sees them again. With Clinkpop, they all land in one place, and the room screen reveals them one by one.
- The challenge drops right on timeFrom your phone, one button launches the next challenge immediately. Candles coming? You tap.
- The whole room sees it bigA TV or a projector connected to a computer is enough. The screen announces the challenge, then reveals the photos.
- The room votes for its favouriteEveryone picks a favourite on their phone. The guests' favourite is marked in the album.

ChloeAll their worlds in one room
Emma knows everyone. They don't know each other.
Childhood friends, family, colleagues, the sports crew, the neighbours: at a birthday, everyone only knows their own table. The challenges give them a good reason to get up and find each other.
Challenges that bring people together
“A photo with the person who has known the star of the day the longest”
The oldest friend stands outEveryone finds out who has known the star since nursery school, and the whole room wants the story.“The most unlikely duo of the day”
The colleague and the auntThe duo nobody would have put together. They're still talking about their photo at dessert.“A photo with someone born the same year as you”
Generations find each otherEveryone born in 1984 gathers, and so does 1958. Two tables just clinked glasses.“Form a big heart around the star of the day with a few others”
Everyone, all at onceA big human heart around the star, fifteen or fifty strong. The group photo people remember.
Who's organising?
For your own 40th, or as a surprise for someone
Five minutes is enough: the star's first name, their age if you like, the date, the start and end time. The challenge programme is ready, picked from the birthday challenges.
You host. You don't run the show.
- Challenges drop on their own: no microphone, no game to lead, you enjoy your guests.
- You play like them. The time of each challenge stays a surprise, even for you.
- The next morning, you see your party through everyone's eyes.
The gift nobody else could give.
- You set up the party in secret, on your phone. The star won't know a thing.
- On the day, the cards are on the tables. They discover the game along with everyone else.
- The next morning, you send them the album link: their whole evening, seen by their guests.
Your own challenges, up to 5
On top of the ready-made programme, write the ones nobody else could write:
- “Recreate Emma's year 5 class photo”
- “The whole high school crew together”
- “Do your best impression of Emma telling a story”
You pick the moment, and your challenge takes the place of a planned one.
The next morning
Emma's whole evening, in one album
Every guest's photos, sorted by challenge, with everyone's first name. The funny ones, the teary ones, and the ones nobody would have taken without a challenge.

Questions
What people ask us about birthdays
It's a surprise. Will the birthday person suspect anything?
No. You create the party on your side, no account needed for them. On the day, they scan the card like everyone else and discover the first challenge along with their guests. The next morning, you send them the album link.
Do our guests need to install an app?
No. They scan their table's QR code with their camera and play right away, in the browser, on iPhone and Android. No account, no email: just a first name.
Will their age be shown everywhere?
Only if you give it: the party is then called “Emma's 40th birthday” on the cards, the screen and the album. Without an age, it's “Emma's birthday”. No challenge mentions age.
What about a child's birthday?
Choose “Family party” instead: none of its challenges targets children. The birthday challenges are written for adults.
When do the challenges drop?
We suggest 7 PM to 1 AM, change it as you like. A challenge drops about every 45 minutes, or at the pace you choose, from 20 minutes to 1 h 30, each one at the right moment: drinks, dinner, cake, party. You can also launch the next one with a tap.
How many guests do we need?
From about ten, the game takes off. The price is the same up to 150 guests, and the free trial lets you play with 10 to see.
What about guests without a smartphone?
They play with the others: most challenges are done in groups, one phone per photo is enough. Grandparents are often the stars of the evening.
What if someone posts an embarrassing photo?
You remove it with one tap from your phone: it disappears from the screen, the phones and the album, and the file is deleted. Every guest can also remove their own. The challenges stay funny without ever mocking anyone.
The night before the party
What if, for their 40th, the whole room played?
Five minutes tonight, and the party has its challenge programme. Try it free with 10 people, pay only once you're convinced.
Nothing for guests to install · one-off payment
